My DragonKeeper poster

My drawings on Dragonkeeper celestial creatures. My personal favorite is The Red Phoenix. My inspiration for the Red Phoenix  was the wandering albatross. For the dragon it was the woodpecker and a Chinese dragon.  Then Qilin was inspired by a wolf, deer and bear.  After that it was basically a giant tortoise.

THE TOWER OF NEVER ENDING ======================================================================

        ——————————————————————————————————–

Characters are: Jeanne, Gray, Lola, Jayne and sander

CHAPTER ONE THE TOWER

The Tower Of Never Ending they call it. As I look up at the tower I see a faint figure at the tip of the tower. I say to my friends “ W-we should go back”. But inside my friends was curiosity of what lies inside the tower. My friends say to me “look, maybe just a quick peep?”. I replied “Fine”. so we grabbed our flashlights, some extra batteries and EMF ghost detectors, music box detectors, cameras and headed straight for the tower.

CHAPTER TWO THE STAIRS

So step by step up the stairs creaking 50 steps into the tower we saw a room that had all the necessities: water, food and beds. So we raided the room once we were done.  Jayne  looked through the window and saw 5 people that looked like us. His first thought was shocking. So quickly shoved his head back through the window and told us everything we were flabbergasted. After a break of processing things we headed on our journey up the stairs.

CHAPTER THREE 5/4

After 70 steps we saw another room except it had a balcony. Of course we raided the room again but sander wanted to look out the balcony and explore first he saw some plants and shelves but when he leaned on the rails he fell. One of the rails was so rusty it just broke off.

At first we all said what was that noise but when we looked down we saw sander’s dead body spiked in the back by a rose. We were astounded Jayne wanted to end it all but she didn’t so then we continued.

CHAPTER FOUR THE REALIZATION

After the death happened we were all still shocked on what happened Jayne was breathing heavily 70 steps later we all saw the same room where Sander died 50 steps later we saw it again and again we were all going crazy. 19 steps in we realized we were in a loop.

THE MOST FUNNEST DAY EVER

On a Very special day of my life, my birthday, my family and I went to the Inflatable world! And all of my friends were coming. But first we had to get the birthday room and sign up my friends for my birthday party once that was out of the way we were setting up the birthday room My parents and I set up the food the cake, Gummies, one of the weirdest Filipino foods were hot dogs and marshmallows on a kebab stick? Well the room was done setting up now we just wait for the guests!

First who came up was Zoey. I don’t want to play yet. I wanted to play with more friends. After Zoey it was Jeaden and Jamie then I was playing. After them it was Ion! He came along with Zachary Then Nicole, Graziel and Zuriel, Kean and Sam.

It was awesome all my friends were here but we had to eat first. Once we were done eating we rushed to all the bouncy castles but it was really sad because we only had 2 hours but we made the most of it. This was the best day ever!

Making my tree hut

Last term Room 6 started a project about making 3D tree houses. We had to collect recycled materials and I used hard rolls ,Styrofoam, masking tape, mask boxes, string, cardboard

den cut offs. I found it very hard to make my tree hut balance and have a solid base. But it was worth the hard work and problem solving in the end!.

I first made the base first and then I glued hard rolls under the base to stabilize it and keep it firmly on the ground. Then I made the trunk by gluing it to the base. I tried to put Styrofoam on the top but it kept falling off. After a few tries I had an idea to put it on the bottom instead!.

On top I just added a cardboard box on top which I glued on. I was supposed to put in some windows but I didn’t  because I reckoned it would make holes that water might get in (we had success criteria we had to meet.)

I worked on stabilizing for a bit by adding Styrofoam marshmallows for weight. I was done with the tree house structure and now time for decor.

I used some string first to make a rope to hang on the side of the hut. I made quite a few knots in it. I made a person next out of Styrofoam marshmallows. I cut it in half but not all the way then made the body by cutting the sides but not all the way too! Finally I made the head by just cutting it in half!. The last step was just gluing it all together. Weird for making that but it worked out!

The very last step was…. Painting!!!!. It was so much  fun. I loved adding the color to my hut. In the end we had to all test that our huts could pass the success criteria. First, we put our tree huts in front of the classroom fan and counted to ten to see if they would fall over in the wind. None of them did. Then we had to put at least 4 scissors in the hut for weight, without it falling over. Lastly Mrs Yumul poured water over them to see if any water could get inside. I was successful with all of them.

It was really hard to make but I liked the challenge and experience!

ki o rahi

Last Thursday a woman named coach Chelsea taught us how to play some games but they weren’t related to ki o rahi, the game we were meant to play.

At first, we watched a video that told us the story of Rahi and Tiara. It was about a guy stealing Tiara and Rahi who is trying to save her. That is most of it. After the video we went outside and played a tagging game.

There were two teams, Kiowa and Taniwha. The rules were to choose a team then the two teams were back to back and if she shouted Kioma,  then that team would run until the end of the canopy and Taniwha people would try and chase them down. If she shouted Taniwha then that team would do the same thing. We played that for 3 rounds and then we stopped. I was tired after that game and since it was raining we all stopped.

Then we all said bye and that was it. MY HEART WAS POUNDING. It was really fun though.

My YOE poster

A YOE poster is an activity for students to do. Our teacher told us to make our own posters so we all took our pencils and a lot of  a3 paper. It took a long time but we got it done here is how it turned out.
